ZaZ real name, Isabelle Geffroy is a French music artist that I’m just in love with at the moment. Her music and this uplifting jazz beat going on and “Le Long De La Route” always make me want to get up and dance ^_^

New iPod

New black classic 160 gigs of wonderful! Let me say this as against Apple Computers as I am I LOVE the iPod and that classic model mind you not the stupid iTouch I want a MP3 player not a new super gadget. As geeky and gadget loving as I am the Classic iPod is what I was wanting from the beginning. Back oh about 9 YEARS ago Brian’s father asked me what I thought of or if I wanted an iPod, Well I was pretty sure at the time what he meant by that was they were thinking of getting me an iPod for x-mas and being the way I was I told my mom who told me to tell them to not buy me it since it was far to much for my boyfriends parents to buy me a 3-4 hundred dollar x-mas gift XD. So what did I do? I listened to my mother and on x-mas that year Brian got a shiny new 20 gig classic iPod which about a week later was packed full on my music in its new home my purse LOL.

So here we are 9 years later and it has died and not so much died as in broken but as in the battery doesn’t hold a charge anymore. Since I really didn’t know what to do about that and since the new 160 gig classic was running rampant through my music filled dreams I decided that that was going to be my gift to me for 2012. Brian has made it a thing that when we get our taxes back in the spring I’ll be able to get one or two big things for the year and that’s it. So this year it was a Kromski Fantasia Spinning Wheel and an iPod. He asked me many times why I wanted a Classic and not a Touch and there are so many reasons.

1. 160gig against 64 (why can’t the touch or ipad for that matter get about 64 gigs hmmmmmm?)

2. $250 against $400 (no brainer)

3. I have a million things I do when listening to a book or music. I don’t need a internet connection to pay to play games (that’s what WoW if for and even then I only play 2 evenings a week now)

4. I’m not the biggest fan of touch screen gadgets (just like I hate 3D movies (they screw with my eyes)) Click wheel is good enough for me thank you very much!

5. Sometimes to much tech isn’t always a good thing (load so many apps on the darn thing there is no room for the music you bought it for in the first place)

So I’m happy with my choice and I’m loading it down with audio books, physics and astronomy lectures from Berkley, TalkToMeInKorean podcasts, and atm French music.

So far I have Enigma, Deep Forest, Phoenix, and Zaz on there. I decided to add music to my iPod country by country as a way to see what I had and to organize my music (I love the Microsoft OneNote applecation).

I had no idea I had so much French music. Now I know that technically Enigma isn’t French (at least I’m told so) but a lot of the vocals are in French and I’ve always classified it as French so that’s where it’s going to stay.

Brian laughs every time he goes onto my Itunes since the Genre list is a list countries instead of actual genres with “Brian” on the list which is where all his music is (since he still hasn’t gotten himself a new computer).

So I’m going to do the same I did with 2NE1 for all the other artists as I add them to my iPod. Oh and as for what I’ve been watching these day Well I did watch all of Stargate then took a break and watched 2 Korean Dramas and now I’m starting Stargate all over (I Love Daniel Jackson!)

2NE1 (투애니원)

So since I’ve been out of the Music scene for quite some time (still jamming to H.O.T and Shinhwa) I’m not at all up to date with what are the “In” groups. Also since I’m not really into going with the trends I decided to go through music in 2 ways. First I went to YesAsia and looked through their Korean music artist lists and copied all the groups and names I’d even slightly heard of. Second I added to the list any group I heard in Kpop room on TT and have decided to go through them alphabetically. Of course in the long run they wont be in alphabetical order since when I’m done with this list I’ll be starting another ….. oh well I’ll have a tag cloud or whatever on the side of the blog for easy navigation.

So I start with 2NE1:

Also if they put out any future albums I’ll add them to my post instead of starting a new one. 1 more thing I know what 1집 means and I’m aware that I don’t use it 100% correctly here but this is how I keep them in order on my computer and in my iTunes otherwise its to confusing. So I’m sorry it took this long to get this posted but truth is I had this post finished 2 days ago but when I went to hit publish the site told me sorry and to try again later but when I hit back everything I had did that day (about 2/3 of the post) had disappeared XD. I confess I should have saved the draft a few times so that wouldn’t happen but I didn’t think of it. I also confess to almost losing it when I realized that over 4 hours worth of work had just gone down the drain T_T Instead of snapping and throwing the computer through the window I got on World of Warcraft and spent a couple hours killing things LOL.

So I took a break for a day and started up again today and Ive save this post about 2 dozen times lol which I will do for any future posts so that never happens again.

2PM next however I think I’ll be posting about the awesome drama I’m watching at the moment first.

So here are some plans for this part of my blog world.

I’ve been watching Korean dramas like they are going out of style and I love them. So I plan on giving my feelings/reviews on the ones I watch though they probably won’t be very detailed.  I’m also going to try to do a Actor/Actress spotlight once a week. I’ve found that there are WAY to many HOT Korean Actors and I’m having a hard time remembering all my favorite ones and what they have been in of which I have and have not seen lol. So during the week I’ll be looking for some good pictures and information on the chosen Person and on Friday or Saturday I’ll make a full post about them. New Albums I get or get to listen to will be posted here as well along with book reviews Since I listen to audio books a lot I should accumulate quite a bit of posts on here.

I have heard Hurricane Venus and Game. Game is my new Favorite song and just enforces my ever present desire to learn and be fluent in Korean. I’m waiting for a few more days (for the next paycheck to come in) before I order it. This will be the first album I have bought this year and it’s so going to be worth it.

I was told that BoA had a give away for one signed Cd and all you had to do is write a story with all the titles to the tracks on Hurricane Venus. I’m sure it’s for her Korean fans only and if not I’m not sure where to send the story so since I did write one I ‘ll post it here and who knows maybe she’ll see it. I’d love to have her album signed by her but I’d be just as happy if she read my story.

A Visit

Sitting there watching the stars come out and fade away day by day, I started to play a game. I found a book of Star names and decided to write a romance about each one. One Star, Two Star, Three star, the stories came pouring out. Papers everywhere, all over my room, on the desk on the shelves, all over the floor and pilling up on my Electronic piano and spilling off into the basket of sheet music underneath.

The T.V was running a series of documentaries about Stars and planets in our solar system and others. A new extremely Dangerous Storm had been discovered. They called it Hurricane Venus for the whole surface of that planet visible to us looked to be in turmoil. All of a sudden the show blacked out and went into stand by mode, when it came back there was a news cast playing.

“Emergency there seems to be abnormity on the planet Venus. It appears that large object are headed this way from the planet, I really don’t know what to say; it hasn’t been confirmed what exactly the object are but they are moving towards earth at an alarming speed” As the news anchor looked off stage to listen to someone the image behind her was very startling, It appeared to be enormous creatures flying through space towards the earth. “That can’t be real,” the Anchor was saying, “How can they be live creatures, are you sure? Let me see that read out”

I turned off the TV and in a rush of adrenaline I ran outside to see if I could see anything. It was just starting to get dark and as I looked up in the sky I could see them they must have passed through our atmosphere but where very high up. They were huge maybe the size of a small country I could only see about 6 of them covering up the whole sky. They had elongated bodies and what looked like 4 front flippers and two hind flippers and a very long tail with barbs on the end of it. It’s head was large and rather flat looking from beneath and it had an area around its neck that looked like the was a mane and 2 very long appendages on either side almost as if it were wearing a furry boa. Then suddenly there was a loud rumbling noise that grew higher in pitch the strange creatures where singing as they migrated across the sky, it was so beautiful. One which was much smaller than the rest made circles and summersaults in the air, must have been a youngster playing or perhaps dancing to the music its fellows made. The strange thing, I mean besides alien creatures flying through space as a whale swims through water, is that they weren’t getting any lower it was as if the planned to fly by the earth and continue out into space. In which case is exactly what they did, a whole grouping of these creatures which became known as the whales from Venus flew by earth and after a few more days they had passed Jupiter and continued on their journey.

I decided after seeing the beautiful creatures that I’d write a love story about them. I’m still working on a title; I want it to be as gorgeous as the whales song was. I hope I will be able to see them again someday.

Concept

This Blog will be about my media. Movies, Books, Music , Games (yeah it’s the evil of my life) that I like will be reviewed/posted about here. Since I think that talking/typing about things I don’t like is a waste of time I simply won’t be reviewing or posting about the media I don’t like lol.

I have a ton in this list to work with but I’m always interested in new things so if you have a Book, Movie, some Music or even a Game you think is awesome and that I should check out let me know and if I like it you’ll hear about it
